Despite the high nesting density in Sarangani, there are only three established hatchery sites all over the province. We helped rehabilitate two of these hatcheries, Old Poblacion and Kiambing Pawikan Hatcheries, in November 2015.

We were able to donate materials for the creation of more plastic mesh enclosures, plastic screens, and education materials. We followed the guidelines set by the DENR and Marine Wildlife Watch of the Philippines (MWWP) in their book marine turtles.

We want to thank the assistance of Manong  Danilo Dequiña, Ruby Ramos, and  Marine Biology alumni volunteers.
